Last summer I had fun sketching three vintage Volvos on First Avenue Northeast, all belonging to the same family, apparently. (Here’s one, the second, and the third.) It turns out a fourth lives on the same street, though this one was a couple blocks south of the others. This classic is probably from the boxy ‘80s. Although I’m generally not a fan of car shapes from this era, I do like the distinctive grid of rear lights.
