Continuing the theme of extreme distortion and unusual perspectives, Life Drawing+ presented model Adrian with an alien, spacey attitude (Bowie’s “Ground Control to Major Tom” was part of the soundtrack). With his camera mounted directly overhead as he lay on a mattress or mounted on the floor as he sat on a mantel, Adrian gave us a variety of unique views of his body to draw. Ordinary life drawing in a studio with the model on a platform will seem ho-hum after this!
