Last May when the Friday sketchers got together at King Street Station, I went up to the upper
level to sketch the view below. Today the full Seattle Urban Sketchers group
stormed the station with our sketchbooks, and I still thought the view from
upstairs was the most compelling. But before that, I took advantage of the
not-yet rainy weather and temperatures in the high-40s (downright balmy compared
to last week) to sketch the station’s clock tower.

Great sketch of the building's exterior, but I am really impressed with the view looking down. That came out super! Ir looks like a fun place to sketch.
ReplyDeleteLove the color in this sketch. I love these extreme viewing angles but find them difficult to do when you have to look up that much.
