Whenever I run neighborhood errands in a southerly
direction, I drive past this intersection. On a sunny Saturday morning, I left
the car at home and walked to this corner, where tiny, red blossoms are growing
on the boulevard. It’s a good spot to slow down and sketch the flowers.
“Are you Tina. . . ?” the approaching woman asked. It turned out that Ella, who lives close by, had been seeing my sketches in the USk Seattle Facebook group for a while! I invited her to join us at an outing sometime, and I hope she will.
