I couldn’t sleep. While my coffee brewed, I sketched the
house across the street. The owners turn most of them off overnight, but in the
evening, many more lights and decorations are visible (similar to last year).
I like it best like this – softly twinkling red and white lights on the
deck railing – and nothing more.
This reminded me of Jose Louro's "Draw Less, Show More" workshop in Chicago Symposium. Need I say more? :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you, Mel! "Draw less" is always my goal!
DeleteA scene like this makes you appreciate the quiet, calm feel of the early morning.
ReplyDeleteThanks! My favorite time of day... when I'm awake for it! ;-)
