When
I saw workers returning from their lunch break, I thought it was going to be
the end of my sketch. One came by to see what I was doing, so I asked if he was
taking the excavator away. “Naaah,” he replied. “The other guys didn’t show up,
so we can’t do our part yet anyway. I’ll leave it here overnight for you.”
Sketching
an excavator with my heavy-equipment yellow pencil while it’s 70 degrees and
sunny: It doesn’t get any better than this.
I guess it was your luck day!!! Great to have the equipment there for so long.
