10/30/18 Seattle Asian Art Museum |
Driving through Capitol Hill the other day, I pulled into Volunteer
Park to see what was going on at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. It’s been closed for a while now, so I figured renovations
were under way. I wasn’t even sure if parking would still be available in front,
but it was – and I had a great view of all the heavy equipment being brought
onto the grounds. I didn’t see any digging the day I was there, but the
machines were ready.
(By the way, the museum is collecting photos that have been taken
by museum visitors at the camel sculptures over the years. Visit this page to see one of Greg and me. If you don’t see it at the
top, it may have scrolled lower. Or just look here.)

Wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so good at finding equipment to sketch. lol Nice! Love the photo of you and Greg. The others on the site are fun too...quite a few oldies.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out the museum site, Joan! I love those old photos, too -- those camels bring back a lot of memories.
