More Trees in Shoreline

12/2/14 Various inks, marker, Caran d'Ache Museum water-soluble colored pencils, Canson XL 140 lb. paper

As has become my routine on days that I have a meeting in Shoreline, I took a meandering drive through the neighborhood on my way home today. This quiet, residential neighborhood is full of trees, many old and very tall – taller than their own good. Here’s another pair of victims of the city power utility’s clippers.

  1. Crazy tree haircuts! Good sketch. You're doing a lot of car sketching.

  2. It is a shame that these poor trees get so stifled. Nice sketch! Looks like it has been a little cold out there for you.
