It’s
mid-afternoon and sunny, and my phone’s weather app says the temperature is 59
degrees. We took a walk through the neighborhood, admiring everyone’s flowers,
listening to the chittering birds, pointing out the trees in full bloom while
others are still as bare as December.
I
stopped to sketch this Suzuki while Greg took another lap around the park. Afterwards
we had coffee al fresco for the first time this year – an occasion I always commemorate
with a selfie. Rain is in the forecast beginning this evening and for the foreseeable
future: Seize the moment.
