Our friend Beth has a serene and lovely garden in West
Seattle. She’s Greg’s massage therapist, so while he got a massage, I spent an
hour sketching a trellis, a couple of her many hosta plants with their broad, heart-shaped
leaves and a ceramic elephant patiently carrying stones.
