The
Interstate 5 overpass at 65th and Ravenna is not a pretty sight. I drive
under it regularly, and the spot is noisy and dark. Nonetheless, it’s a fun place
for a values study. As I was sketching, I saw a tree growing between the two
sets of freeway “legs” that I’d never noticed before.
I
sketched the opposite side of the freeway in the same neighborhood a
couple of years ago.
I love your usage of black and white with just two small spots of color.
