Still Pink

4/4/19 Still pink in the Wedgwood neighborhood.
Weather Bunny waits out the pink snowstorm.

The day after I had made my last cherry tree sketches, strong winds and rain brought flurries of pink snow. I was certain my sakura-sketching days were over for the year. But the next day, it was unexpectedly sunny again, so at the first opportunity, I went out looking for more trees . . . Had they lost all their petals?

In the Wedgwood neighborhood, this beauty caught my eye. My view slightly marred by the yellow SPEED BUMPS AHEAD sign, it was still magnificently pink.
