Change of Focus

Platinum Carbon and Iroshizuku Tsuyu-kusa inks,
Caran d'Ache Museum pencils, Zig marker
When this sketch started out, I thought I was interested in the chopped-away tree. But it’s clear that I became more interested in the power poles and their fascinating grid of lines.

  1. You always do such a good job with the power poles and lines. Good sketch!

  2. Power poles and wires make such great subjects. It's surprising we don't do them more often. These form a great composition.
