Sketching my friend Roy on Zoom a few weeks ago was so much fun that I’ve decided I’m going to initiate portrait parties of my own. It’s such an easy way to stay connected and catch up with friends.

For Roy, I dressed up my pandemic hair with one of Greg’s old baseball caps. Now that I’m freshly shorn (Greg gave me a buzz cut a couple of weeks ago!), I looked for headgear more becoming of my new ‘do. Then Cathy McAuliffe and I had a blast sketching each other and catching up.
