Warmish

 

2/1/24 Green Lake

Although I walk around Green Lake year-round, rain or shine, if winter weather happens to turn just a tiny bit warmish and sunny, the lake calls to me for a sketch. I usually stand on the shoreline, but on this 57-degree afternoon, I walked out to the pier on the east side of the lake. It was Feb. 1, so I knew it was too early for even a tease of spring, but it was a lovely reprieve.
