Birches

 

12/28/22 Greenwood neighborhood

With all the ice, snow, cold, rain and wind we’ve been having lately, even sketching from my car has been difficult this season, let alone taking walks. It felt wonderful to finally get out for a walk with a friend last Wednesday when we were treated to “sun breaks.” Driving home from her Greenwood neighborhood, I was stopped in my tracks by these birch trees glowing brilliantly white in the sun.
