Last year I sketched from upstairs, so it was
easy to see two houses. This time I sketched from the livingroom window at a
more acute angle, so the two houses look cojoined. I had to rush this predawn
nocturne because the sky was already beginning to lighten.
Shortly after I sketched this, it began to snow.
Your nocturnes make me want to go out and do an evening sketch. I haven't done one in a long time. I like the peaceful feel of this!
