Fighting COVID-19 can be a terrible spiral of hope and anguish.
One month ago, Toni was hospitalized in ICU, and her family has already been
through many cycles with her. Each tiny positive change gives her loved
ones renewed optimism; each backward slide fills them with despair all over again.
The disease marches through the body, attacking different organs along the way,
leaving behind devastation in one form but the perception of recovery in
another.
The war continues.
I enjoy seeing the different looks to your hand and the garlic. My heart aches for Toni's family. What an ordeal to go through. They are still in my prayers and thoughts.
