I went to Green Lake this morning looking for dog walkers,
runners and the long shadows of trees to sketch. I did find all of those, but
what caught my interest was a pair of mallards soaking up the sun on the
shoreline.
Great job on the shapes of the mallards. I like how you did the pencil lines for the feathers and the washes for the shadows under them. I heard on the weather that the Pacific NW is having its warmest temps yet.
