Al Fresco

It was a busy day of minor annoyances: Finishing our income tax return, shopping and other necessary errands. I had hoped to get back to the cemetery for a sketch this afternoon but ran out of time. Instead, I made a quick stop at the Roosevelt Starbucks, where a couple of girls from the nearby high school gossiped in the bright sunshine – which means I got to sketch in the sunshine! That and my first al fresco Frappuccino of the year are always something to celebrate.
