In honor of worldwide Fountain Pen Day, I used my favorite Sailors
to sketch a few patrons this morning at Zoka Coffee. As much as I enjoy experimenting with all kinds of colorful media
and trying unusual writing instruments like twigs, sometimes the elegant
simplicity of plain ol’ pen and ink are all I need to keep me happy. . .

Oh...if only I had known!!! Great sketches...especially the last ones with the ink shading.
