I just became a Burke member to facilitate the rest of my winter sketching! Larry, I like Velvet Black best because of its rich, purplish wash, but Ultra Black is a close second because it dries very quickly. Its wash is more of a true black.MiataGrrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00727208043312788510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220865105573981879.post-18749129818221253782013-02-23T09:45:18.398-08:002013-02-23T09:45:18.398-08:00How great that you have interesting museums so clo...How great that you have interesting museums so close to you. This is a perfect place to sketch on a rainy/dreary/cold day. I love the sketches of all the bones. I think some of the smaller museums are ideal places for sketchers. This Sunday we're heading to one of our smaller museums that displays artifacts excavated from Quebec City's old port area. Can't wait.

I see that you use PR Ultra Black for these sketches. I know you've used PR Velvet Black as well. Which to you prefer and why? I've got Velvet Black but have never tried the other one.

Cheers --- Larrylarryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09499637631503513759noreply@blogger.com
