The three that I have left are probably from about 1989.kenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09139396188703911220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220865105573981879.post-4633046529752308702019-10-08T18:59:59.019-07:002019-10-08T18:59:59.019-07:00Hey! Col-erase pencils, under its different brand incarnations (Venus-FaberCastell-Eberhard Faber-Sanford and lastly Prismacolor) have been a must for animators all around the world for decades. Prismacolour col-erases are definitively not the firm but waxy wonders they used to be when I used them at work (as an animator) but they are still good.

My favorite col-erase pencil colours, aside of the classical carmine red and blue are light blue, rose, orange and brown. I still keep dozens of them and they still can be found for nothing . During these last years I have bought lot of vintage Faber-Castell and Venus Col-erase in Ebay.

https://www.pinterest.es/offsite/?token=401-584&url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.pinimg.com%2Foriginals%2F01%2F41%2Fc7%2F0141c7fad6db0450de14c41753e7c0fb.jpg&pin=536350636873704871&client_tracking_params=CwABAAAAEDExNTMzNzE5NTE1OTQwMzMGAAMAAQA&aux_data=%7B%7D
mshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01159108437552490306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220865105573981879.post-92143315962500698112018-01-28T13:48:04.313-08:002018-01-28T13:48:04.313-08:00Hmm, interesting -- I didn't know they were us...Hmm, interesting -- I didn't know they were used by animators. It's kind of fun writing with them -- the virtues of graphite but with the fun and no smearing of color!MiataGrrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00727208043312788510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220865105573981879.post-29448317021484137552018-01-28T10:07:13.743-08:002018-01-28T10:07:13.743-08:00Col-erase are very popular with those doing line a...Col-erase are very popular with those doing line art, particularly in the animation world. They bring to this the same virtues you mention for writing and are preferred to pencil because they don't smear. Much better options, though, if you want to do colored, rendered drawing, though.larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09499637631503513759noreply@blogger.com
