Yesterday
was an unusual February treat – blue sky and sunshine all day! Unfortunately
for me, it was also chilly – too cold for me to stay outdoors for a sketch as I’d
hoped when I’d first heard the sun forecast. But with sharp shadows and brilliant light in the ‘hood, even sketching from my car was
a treat.
Most
of the forecast for the rest of the week is the usual overcast and chance of
rain, but if I can have a day like yesterday once in a while, it’ll help me get
through the rest of winter.
Lovely sketch! I love the long shadows and the tree with it’s branches that you you gave such wonderful texture to!
ReplyDeleteIt is always nice to have blue skies and shadows for paintings. This is nice!!! We've had rain all day...following a day of mostly rain yesterday. It was a good day to stay indoors and be lazy.
